Our native Cardano staking integration allows delegation to any stake pool in the available set. When staking, you can only delegate to one pool at a time and must delegate your full balance — there’s no minimum stake requirement, but a 2 ADA staking deposit will be required to register your address to start staking. This deposit won’t be included in the staked position but will be returned when you unstake.

Once the staking transaction is complete, you’ll start accruing rewards which will be distributed in the next era (Cardano staking rewards are distributed approximately every 5 days) and need to be claimed manually. When claimed, the rewards are automatically added to your staked balance.

Claim Rewards

Staking rewards accrue to a rewards balance that you can track via our /stake/balances endpoint. To claim these rewards and add them to the user's staked balance, the CLAIM_REWARDS pending action is available.

Restake

To redelegate ADA from one pool to another, users will need to use the RESTAKE pending action. The updated staked balance can be tracked via our /stake/balances endpoint.

Considerations

1. Users can stake and unstake only the entire balance.
2. When staking, a user needs to provide a stake deposit of 2 ADA that will not be included in the staked balance but will be returned when the position is unstaked. Note that the transaction fees will be deducted from the 2 ADA stake deposit.
3. Users can stake to only one stake pool at a time.
4. Unclaimed rewards are automatically withdrawn when the position is unstaked.
